Lifelong local resident Molly LuAnn Sanders, 57, of Kelso passed away Feb. 14, 2024, at home.

She was born July 29, 1966, in Longview, to Floyd and JoAnn (Cresor) Stone and attended local schools.

Molly married Gerald Sanders May 17, 1985, and became a homemaker. She enjoyed working in the yard, caring for her flowers, camping, off road adventures, and time with her family, especially the grandchildren. She was fun-loving, outgoing and kept herself busy. She loved traveling and celebrating all the holidays.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Garald Sanders at home; five sons, Jordan, Sheldon, Brandon, Justin and Matthew Sanders, all of Kelso; her mother, JoAnn Stone of Kelso; two brothers, Mark Stone of Kelso and Jeff Stone of Castle Rock; a sister, Inga Stone; and eight grandchildren, Wyatt Straw, and Aiden, Landon, Nolan, and Avia  Sanders, all of Kelso, and Easton Jensen and Jasper and Rhenlee Sanders, all of Longview.

Her father, Floyd Stone, preceded her in death.

A celebration of her life is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2 at Robert Gray Baptist Church, 2448 46th Ave., in Longview.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Molly’s name be made to the Robert Gray Baptist Church Roof Fund.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home.
